Tommy obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Queens College and Master’s Degree in Social Work from Stony Brook University. During his career, Tommy focused on working with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression and addiction. He utilizes many effective evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). Tommy strongly believes that no two people are identical and customizes each treatment plan uniquely with each individual.
Throughout his career, he has experienced how powerful anxiety, depression and addiction can hold people back from reaching their full potential. Being open-minded and non-judgmental, Tommy offers a warm and welcoming environment that fosters trust and rapport building.
Tommy has helped hundreds of people who have had personal issues impact their family, relationships and careers. Utilizing a collaborative approach and working together as a team, Tommy helps you minimize these issues so your life can begin to maximize! No person is an island. Sometimes it requires a village and Tommy would love to help you build that village of support to empower yourself.
To meet his communities needs, Tommy transitioned his practice to Telehealth during COVID’s outbreak. Recognizing the recent need for in-person therapy, Tommy has joined PWC and has in person availability on Monday and Wednesday evenings!
